SVP is a bright, open classroom full of activities to explore. There is a coat room where children are able to take off and hang their coats, backpacks and outside shoes. Entering the classroom children will find some new and some familiar activities each day.
Every day an easel and paint pots await and the dress-up area, kitchen, cars, books, puzzles and science table are also always available. Songs, stories and crafts, such as gluing, cutting, printmaking, vary according to the seasons and other themes (such as dinosaurs).
Each day children have time for unstructured play, snack, songs, stories and almost always outside play. Each day one or more parents with be in the classroom to assist the ECE.
